Gobble 'Til You Wobble Wine Tag

Maybe you're more of a holiday guest instead of a host.  Instead of being the hostess with the mostest, you can be the guest who's the best with this craft.  Wine is one of the best hostess gifts (in my opinion), and it can be served as part of the Thanksgiving dinner or dessert.  Instead of being that person who brings their wine in the grocery store bag, show your host that you gave it a little extra thought.  If you have a few supplies and a few minutes, you can make this wine tag!

Materials: 2 colors of card stock, glue stick, hole punch, felt tip pen, twine

1.  Cut one piece of card stock to a 4" x 5" rectangle.  Cut the second piece of card stock to a 3" x 3" square.

2.  Glue the square on top of the rectangle.  Make the square centered on the sides, but the same distance from the bottom as it is from the sides.

3.  In the font(s) of your choice with your felt tip pen write "Gobble 'Til You Wobble" at the bottom of the square.  I chose to use a variety of fonts to add visual interest, but go with your abilities.  I just imitated fonts I found online.

4.  Draw a turkey at the top of the square.  I also included two wine glasses for good measure, but those are completely optional.

5.  Using your hole punch, punch a hole in the top of the rectangle.

6.  Cut approximately 9-10" of twine.

7.  Thread the twine through the hole you punched.  To make the tag lay flat, I folded the twine in half and threaded it through the back of the hole.  I pulled the two ends through the loop I created and tighten it.  Then, I tied the two ends together.

8.  Place on a bottle of wine and give to host.
