Spring Wreath
I was commissioned by J's mom to make a wreath for her brother's upcoming nuptials in May. I wanted to make a wreath that was filled with spring spirit so they could use it as a wreath on their front door in the future. I am so excited with how the wreath turned out, I wanted to show you how to make your own. It is the perfect wreath for any front door during the spring and summer. It also makes a great Mother's Day gift, if you still haven't gotten something for your mom!

Initial Christmas Wreath
People often ask me if I always make things myself. The answer is NO! If I can find something already made that is inexpensive and what I'm looking for, I buy it. My trick is taking something store bought and just adding small features to make it individual to you! Christmas wreaths are the perfect example of this philosophy. There are so many cute and fairly inexpensive ones that you can buy in the store today ready to hang. To make the wreath look personalized and custom made, you can simply add a wood letter initial. Follow this tutorial to take your store bought wreath or any wreath you're looking to dress up to the next level.

Give Thanks Door Tag
As much as I loved all the Fall Wreaths I posted about on Tuesday, I wanted something that wasn't a wreath to decorate my door. I wanted something simple. I also wanted to use burlap. I wanted something unique. I also wanted something that I could store until next year without damaging it. I love this project because the beauty is in its simplicity. Plus, it carries the perfect reminder I often need after a trying day of teaching, give thanks.
